Gentle Exercise - Dementia Friendly Parishes
Venue: Yealmpton Methodist Hall Inclusive gentle exercise group - £6.00 per session (first session free). Everyone is welcome to this fun mixture of seated/standing exercises/movements to music, tailored to improve flexibility, strength and balance. Delivered by our friendly and experienced registered physiotherapists who can offer advice if required. Every Tuesday morning at Yealmpton Methodist Church Hall. Singing By Heart
Venue: The Bridge, Ivybridge Salvation Army, Leonards Road, Ivybridge, PL21 0SL Singing By Heart is a dementia friendly singing group run by the Salvation Army at the Bridge in Ivybridge. Each session is a get together in a relaxed environment to sing popular songs and classic hymns from years gone by. All are welcome to come along and join but the sessions are designed for people living with dementia and their carers.
