Read, Listen & Laugh Group - Dementia Friendly Parishes - POSTPONED for Summer Holidays

Venue: Yealmpton Parish Room

NOTE:Judy will be at the Parish Room from 10.00 - 10.30am for access to the library. An inclusive, shared Listen & Laugh Group – There is a £3.00 charge towards refreshments and room hire. Fun, friendship and laughter in bucket loads. Remembering and sharing together favourite stories and poems. You can listen, reminisce and enjoy the laughter, fun and chat over a cup of tea or coffee. The group meets every Thursday morning from 10.30 to 12 noon in the Parish Room, Bakery Square in Yealmpton.

Totnes Caring - Memory Cafe

Venue: Totnes Boating Association, Steamer Quay Rd, Totnes, TQ9 5AL.

The Totnes Memory Café provides the opportunity for people with memory problems and their carers to meet socially with others. At the Café you can chat and share experiences and information in a safe, friendly, supportive environment. If you wish, you can also join activities including singing, music, and games.

The Monday Club - NO MONDAY CLUB TODAY as it's BANK HOLIDAY!

Venue: Yealmpton Methodist Church Hall

An informal monthly meet up with an emphasis on friendship and fun. Free refreshments and arts and crafts with Stuart Riddle from the Life on the Edge Project (South Devon National Landscape). We will continue to paint 1 of 8 large wooden dragonflies, which will be part of a public arts trail in Wembury to raise awareness of water quality in our blue spaces.

Monday Coffee Morning - South Brent Caring

Venue: The Old School Community Centre

The South Brent Caring coffee mornings are a great way to get together with friends and make new ones! So why not come along and enjoy the company. The coffee morning will run every Monday except on bank holidays. If you are living in or around Plymouth and are living with dementia or care for someone living with dementia, then come along to the Memory Matters Memory Cafe for activities and a friendly chat above the Moments Cafe in New George Street Plymouth.
